The Crabzz C10 hand-held anchor winch is designed for use in inflatable and hull boats, up to 4.6 m long. It can act as a main, auxiliary or safety winch. Designed for Crabzz anchors, weighing up to 8 kg. Provides instant free reset of the anchor and fast lifting almost effortlessly, due to a mechanical system with 6 bearings.

The lifting and lowering system of this model is one of the quietest, most reliable and trouble-free. Free descent and winding of a halyard is carried out by means of 2 levers. Thanks to the well-thought-out locking mechanism of the coil, you can change hands while winding the halyard to avoid fatigue. There is a mechanism of anti-bucking during anchoring.

The model is equipped with a coil with an anchor cable and a remote roll, the length of which can be further increased with the help of the extender.

The halyard 30 meters long is made of strong kapron, wound on a steel drum and can withstand a tensile load of up to 360 kg. It can be completely wound on the spool in just 1.5 minutes.

Metal parts of the Crabzz C10 zinc winch are made of galvanized thick-walled steel, perfectly protected against corrosion, wear and heavy physical exertion. Water-repellent oil is applied to the moving parts. The set includes all the necessary fasteners. There are also clamps to keep the anchor in a raised position.

The winch has compact dimensions and low weight, is easily and quickly mounted and dismantled, it is very easy to operate. The owner saves a lot of space in the boat, freeing it from the anchor and the cable bay. The anchoring process with this model becomes very comfortable.

Winch cover

The manual anchor winch for boats Crabzz C10 is not equipped with the external case. This saves space in the boat, makes installation and maintenance of the winch as simple and fast as possible.

All parts of the winch are made of strong thick-walled galvanized steel, some parts have an additional paint coating. Therefore, protected from environmental influences (including moisture and salt), wear and tear and exercise.

Control levers

The Crabzz C10 hand winch is controlled by two levers of a convenient design and an ergonomic form. The smaller 2-position lever is responsible for lowering the anchor. With a larger one, the owner manually winds the anchor halyard onto the spool.

Winch frame

Frame and mounting brackets are made of galvanized steel 3 mm thick. It is a durable material, well protected against corrosion. Therefore, the winch is suitable for use in fresh and salt water.

The small dimensions of the winch 110 × 110 × 160 mm allow to save space in the cockpit of small boats up to 4.6 m. The weight of the winch is only 5 kg.

The set of the winch includes a full set of fasteners: bolts, locknuts, brackets, as well as a safety carabiner for the anchor. They are made of strong galvanized steel.

Manual mechanism

The device for raising and lowering the anchor of the hand winch Crabzz C10 is implemented completely mechanically. It consists of 6 bearings which provide easy, simple and safe work with the winch.

To drop the anchor, press the smaller lever and move it to the right to secure it in the down position. The anchor under its own weight goes to the bottom, reaching it in a moment.

A special mechanism prevents the anchor rope from bulging during the descent. After the armature reaches the desired depth, the lever must be moved to its original position to lock the coil.

Raising the anchor is done by rotating the longer lever clockwise. This is a simple and easy procedure that takes place almost without physical effort.

Winding the full length of the anchor beam takes a maximum of 1.5 minutes. The winch has a locking mechanism that prevents the coil from spinning in the opposite direction if the owner releases the lever. Therefore, you have the opportunity to freely change hands while raising the anchor, avoiding fatigue.

The maximum working load of this model is 70 kg.

Importantly! To make the operation of the Crabzz C10 manual anchor winch as long and efficient as possible, we recommend using only Crabzz anchors in the permitted weight range of 5-8 kg (11-18 lb).

Coil and locking mechanism

The cable coil of the Crabzz C10 manual winch is made of galvanized steel, steady against corrosion, wear, mechanical loadings. Hydrophobic oil is applied to the moving parts of the device, which reduces friction.

An anchor halyard made of strong kapron, 30m long and 3.5 mm thick, is wound on the drum. It can withstand a tensile load of up to 360kg.

High-quality and comfortable operation of the winch is provided, in particular, by the reliable mechanism of fixing of the coil during winding of a halyard and system of anti-slamming during dumping. The locking mechanism prevents self-untwisting of the coil and allows to change hands during winding of a halyard.

In the set of the winch you will find a special flexible tube made of transparent plastic, which is put on the halyard. The protective tube prevents cuts and rubbing of the halyard on underwater objects. Tube length 1 m, inner diameter 5 mm.

Remote Rawls

The roll of the Crabzz C10 anchor winch is made of strong galvanized steel with walls, 3 mm thick. The material is resistant to heavy physical exertion, has excellent anti-corrosion properties.

The roll is equipped with a rolling roller made of durable, high-quality, wear-resistant plastic. Dimensions of a roll of 250х75х128 mm. If necessary, the useful length of the roll can be increased with a Crabzz extension.

The Rawls have technological holes for mounting in a boat or on an extension cord. There are also slots for fixing the anchor when moving on water. The shape of the roll helps to avoid strong blows of the anchor and loud noises during its lifting and transportation.

The winch is completed with the fastening elements necessary for installation of Rawls. There is also a safety carabiner and a U-shaped bracket for fixing the anchor.

Importantly! For the longest and highest quality operation of the Crabzz C10 winch, use it only with a standard roll!
